shkoday | First Nations Energy Sustainability Association – The path begins beneath your own feet

Description

Canada is barreling ahead to meet its net-zero goals by 2050. With all-time high rental prices, food cost and fuel prices, low- and fixed-income First Nations households are struggling to meaningfully participate in the Energy Efficiency practices. Ishkoday intends on filling in the data gaps, advancing education around First Nations energy use and sustainable practices, advocating for change and empowering First Nations in Ontario.

Join us for a DiscoverEE webinar on Friday, May 31st with Adam McLaren and Jessica Nadjiwon as we discuss how low- and fixed-income First Nations households are struggling to meaningfully participate in the Energy Efficiency practices with all-time high rental prices, food cost and fuel prices. Tune in to explore how Ishkoday intends on filling in the data gaps, advancing education around First Nations energy use and sustainable practices, advocating for change and empowering First Nations in Ontario.
